To keep you up to date with our stones and where they get used – we recently supplied Ancaster Weatherbed for a project in Lincolnshire – The Lincoln Museum. This is a most beautiful building which has enabled Ancaster to be shown off to it’s best. We encourage more of you to promote this stone for use internally and externally, as we know you won’t be disappointed with the end result and the ease of working with this material. Weatherbed is the top layer in the quarry – below which are the Hard White and Basebed.

From a practical standpoint – we need to quarry and sell the Weatherbed, in order to release the ever-popular Hard White. So the more Weatherbed we can get used in the market, a double benefit is achieved – as more Hard White can be supplied to keep up with the demand. Currently we are selling our Ancaster Weatherbed at low and very competitive rates to encourage this stones use and because of the above practical quarrying aspect.
